About Me

       St.Anthony’s College Katugastota is the oldest and the greatest, the most precious and the prestigious educational institution was found in 1854 with 62 girls and 28 boys by Rev, Fr. Felice Zoppi.  It is the best of the rest in the island is draped in maroon, light blue and dark blue.  It is embedded with gems of “Lux de Coelo”.   The selfless service and the devotion of the past principals have made a distinct contribution to the development of the college.  It is the institution which gives equal right to practice religion without any discrimination, has celebrated the sesciquicetenenial jubilee to state that St.Anthony’s College is the oldest but proudly stands as the giant of the nation.

        It has the student population of more than three thousand and five hundred students.  These young Antonians are watered and manure by 150 academic staff to produce eminent personalities as in the past, who have risen to high positions of responsibility in the state and in the international arena.

     The Primary Department of St.Anthony’s College, Katugastota, work with zeal and vigour, on a plan that is encompassing all that is up to date in education.  The strengh of the Primary Department is more than one thousand students, who are enlightened to see a world culture with a fine synthesis.
